This study unravels the phylogenetic and phylogeographic origin and history of this fascinating pantropical tree family. One of the most striking discoveries is the single migration event that occured 28 Ma ago and gave rise to the incredible Neotropical diversity!<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nThis article is a result of a collaboration with <a title=\"J\u00e9r\u00f4me's website\" href=\"http:\/\/chave.ups-tlse.fr\/\" target=\"_blank\">J\u00e9r\u00f4me Chave<\/a>, L\u00e9a Bardon, J\u00e9r\u00f4me Murienne, Ghillean Prance, Cynthia Sothers, Charles C Davis, Zhenxiang Xi, Roosevelt Garc\u00eda-Villacorta, S\u00e9bastien Lavergne and Eric Coissac. Its publication rewards the hard work started during my first post-doc at the &#8220;<a title=\"EDB website\" href=\"http:\/\/www.edb.ups-tlse.fr\/?lang=en\" target=\"_blank\">Evolution &amp; Diversit\u00e9 Biologique<\/a>&#8221; lab, in Toulouse (France).<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\nIt is titled &#8220;<strong>Unraveling the biogeographical history of Chrysobalanaceae from plastid genomes<\/strong>&#8221; and will hopefully be online soon.<br \/>\n&nbsp;<br \/>\n&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The manuscript about the history of the Chrysobalanaceae family has been accepted for publication in the American Journal of Botany.
